…… and that Sharon is because she is a highly skilled, highly intelligent and experienced businesswoman.
She speaks her truth quietly but incisively; she doesn’t boast or bluster; and if she has nothing intelligent to add – she keeps her mouth shut. (an example that should be followed by all the so-called contestants).

i got the impression emma that she was merely giving him the,” that ploy wont wash thing” rather than it being race related she smiled at him as if to say cheeky chap trying to charm me rather than what ur saying ,but maybe i missed something there, and if it was a race issue moment wouldnt they have edited it ?
and im glad the one that left did, she was annoying, but Micheal i think his name is really should have gone too what a t it.Edit, absolutely not. Those who pull strings at the BBC love making white look guilty. But i take the point that she might’ve been thinking cheeky chap.
Sara was the weakest link, not by much, but yet again all 3 guests said she should’ve stayed. They always get a lovely round of applause for it

Alan Sugar ought to fire the lot of ’em !!!
Rarely if ever have I seen such a collection of complete and utter incompetents gathered together in one place. They (collectively) appear to have little or no idea about organising anything; their planning is vague and unco-ordinated at best; their marketing ideas are aspirational and regularly come unstuck at the first hurdle; they are in business terms a complete disaster waiting to happen.
I have to agree. Take last night, the moment i knew what their task was, i thought about the Birmingham market and couldn’t understand why they didn’t seek advice on that publics usual spending power.

Isnt it reassuring that these are the businessmen/women of our time… are we supposed to be inspired by them? Surely we are meant to be really impressed at their so called “skills”. They go on a course to be chosen for the program, Id love to see some of the ones who never made it, that would be a good program.
I do think that Margaret is fast becoming the most entertaining person on the program, a woman of few words but the words she does use are so well put.
She’s a professional probably on 10k a week. The whole programme is not to find someone so alan can turn into a Duncan Valentine, but a programme to entertain millions of people, hence their collective stupidity, inability, crazyness, comedian skills etc and the obvious brilliance of alan and his 2 pals shine through.
Who chose the contestants?
24 May, 2008 at 1:19 am #322981How the hell’s kitchen did Micheal survive this week?
Simple, he’s more entertaining than Rafe.
When micheal started lieing about his imput, and rafe questioned it, i thought micheal was a dead cert gonner. Last week micheal was on a shredded thread, he’s almost always on the loosing team, then fights his corner like a bad car salesman and amazingly survives.
Lets face it, if you had a group of boring geegy but fantastic sales people, would you watch it? The Apprentice is nothing if theres no audience.
24 May, 2008 at 1:20 am #322982You still have Hoseason as an audience.
24 May, 2008 at 1:18 pm #322983I never saw it this week and forgot to record it. I take it Rafe or whatever his name is went?
24 May, 2008 at 9:31 pm #322984Yes Shaz, shame because he was quite articulate. Artisticly, he produced a tv advert to rival your average film director, but failed to show the product (a box of tissues) in the advert, calling it vulgar.
WHO puts these contestants forward??
27 May, 2008 at 7:58 pm #322985This weeks is about to start, i reckon micheal has had his day.
Are they allowed to give discounts?
