A recent survey stated the wheel was the greatest invention of all time. While i would certainly not disagree i have to say the i phone at number 8 was suspect. But we all have our own views on the top 10.whats yours…..

hmm telephone yes but to say a type of phone no.

when ppl say its the best thing since sliced bread, i ask and what was it before then? To date noone has a answer.

guess best invention besides the wheel is machines – mainly life support, dialysis etc

I often wonder if my great grandpa could come back and take a peak at today’s inventions how amazed he would be…truly…. in his lifetime he saw the first motor car, the first plane and men landing on the moon…

Will any of us see such leaps in our lifetime I wonder? The greatest invention in my lifetime besides medical breakthroughs has to be the Internet. Its changed just about everything we do…how things are run how we communicate how we shop.. do business make friends and enemies worldwide… and has even been an essential tool in bringing down governments….. its fun and scary all at the same time… I know the word awsome is over used these days but the internet truly is AWSOME!

for me it has got to be MP3 players.
Totaly would not be able to do a 60 min walk every day with out it 8)

    Keeping with music related…

When radios came with bass adjusters 8)

When I was a kid we had this really crapy radio in the kitchen. It was just a raido, no tape deck. Just one little volume dile on it.
When I was about 8 my dad spent a looot of money on a new top of the range sound system.
doubble tape dec, record player on top, and two massive speakers that were taller than me
and the all important bass adjuster.

My love for music and bass was born 8)
