The wee Lithuanian guy who dived to get a penalty against Scotland has been banned for two matches for his actions.
So can we now expect to see every dive in every game punished in a similar way? Or is it just blatant attempts to win penalties?
Somehow, I doubt it.
The dive the guy took was a shocker though.
No doubt about that BM, the officials from that game should be the ones serving the ban for awarding it in the first place. But it just strikes me as odd that he’s got this ban when players get away with diving week in, week out.
