Thanks for my e-card hunni, bless ya heart. Now for the pathetic bit. My kids, as some of you in 40,s know, are on their hols with my parents in Majorca. Yet AGAIN they,ve missed my birthday. I read a homemade card my youngest made me and I,ve howled my eyes out alreday. Husband came upstairs and gave me the ones that they,d bought for me, and do you know what? I CANNOT bring myself to open them yet, because I know if I do I,ll start howling again, and he CANNOT understand that atall. FFS WHY are men so bloody dim sometimes? I,m NOT tarring you all with the same brush btw, that wouldnt be fair, but he really cant see for the life of him why I,m so upset. I,ll have to open them later on, maybe when he,s gone to bed then I can howl in private, BUT if I leave them all day, he,ll keep asking me, “why havnt you opened your cards, arnt you going to to open them?” FFS. And of course now I,ve got a bloody headache because I,ve been crying. I HATE birthdays, well my own anyway.

There are deffo no darts being thrown at batty today or indeed till the kiddies are back (then omg what a party i can have). However i will be turning my agresssion on a mangy aul fleabitten furball of a feline whos name i shall not mention. I can say it will not be darts that i shall be using :lol: :lol: :lol: lets just say flying furballs is a funny vision :lol: :lol: :lol: OH one other word springs to mind EARMUFF :lol: :lol: :lol: :wink: :wink:

Bless your hearts, thanks peeps. LMAO@ear muffs chessy. I didnt “let” them go away as such squeezy, my parents arranged it last year, as they have done the last couple of years. The kids want to go, and they should go, they have a lovely time, BUT they always do it when it,s my birthday and THAT is what upsets me. I read my youngest sons homemade card this am and BAWLED my eyes out. One of the things he put in it was,” I love you mum” He,s 7. Bless him.

They’re your kids – if you want them there for your birthday then they should be, specially if it makes you this unhappy.
