Thank you for taking good care of my uncle while he served alongside your forces in WW1 in France. He fought in a British detachment after being separated from his American Army unit. We remember those who served on this day here in the US and have much love for the active military, veterans, and military families in the UK.
That’s great that you know your family history like that. I feel like those in the US have a better idea of their family histories compared to those in the UK.
