    He may well donate to CIN but he doesn’t need the fee. He’s said he’s happy to do it for free so if that’s the case, why take the fee in the first place?

    If he refused the fee do you think the BBC would donate it to CIN? I very much doubt it, Therefore CIN would not gain by the refusal.
    However if he accepts the said fee and furthermore donates to CIN whether the whole amount or just a portion They do gain.
    People assume they know everything when in reality they have no idea.
