Yet another supposedly foiled plot to murder people living in England.
What i dont understand is, why dont the “terrorists” blow something up thats more easy to get away with, like the thames above the underground, or railway lines/trains. Either would kill thousands, tens of thousands.
Killing thousands one morning on the London underground, would destabalise the economy somewhat.
Yes blowing up 6 planes above populated areas would kill loads, but whats the chances of getting away with it, and whats the chances of knowing where the plane would crash? 21 arrested, then experts say these people are extremely dedicated :roll:
Is this a cynical ploy by new labour to slow us down using the gass gusseling airoplanes? Will they come out of all this looking like they “saved” hundreds of lives, and make us think that they are good enough to protect us, so vote for them?
Hardn’t muslims say that these attacks are due to our government killing their brothers abroad illegaly. New labour let mass immigration threaten us, they dont even know how many illegals are living in our neighbourhoods, they are not protecting us.
John reid spun it well earlier, he said answering the question of islam v the west, terror attacks have killed more muslims (giving people the impression its just terrorists)..paused..then said..in iraq.
Why wont new labour admit that who they call terrorists, are indeed muslims, and only muslims. Is it because they need the muslim block vote to win elections?

Because it only takes a small amount of explosives to bring down an aircraft and it’s more spectacular.

As will cancellation of thousands of planned flights

Getting away with it isn’t part of a suicide bomber’s plan. Also, if a plane explodes over the ocean there is less evidence for the police to find.

Not all ‘illegals’ are terrorists and the authorities seem to have done well protecting us from the ‘bad guys’ in this instance. In any case, didn’t the reports say those arrested were British citizens?

I’m sure they will be quickly identified as fundamentalists and, as I am sure you will recognise (ok, maybe not you but non-facists will), there is a difference between normal muslims and fundamentalist muslims.

Thats what i thought initially, but experts reckon these terrorists are extremely dedicated, and who would see the planes crash, a few by-standers, dont suppose many will have their cameras out waiting…

If it wasn’t iraq they would have another excuse – perhaps a cartoon in a newspaper or whatever
These people are terrorist scum – they hate the West – full stop If they are found to be British citizens – then why were they let in in the first place, and more to the point being a British citizen should mean supporting Britain not fighting itThe 20% or whatever muslims in this country that support the tube bombers and other terrorists should be deported immediately – somewhere nice and peaceful like Lebanon – along with their families
Well they always recognised it was a matter of ‘When’ not ‘If’. Who knows what we’ve let ourselves in for – we reap what we sow I suppose. I just hope the authorities keep on top of it and the opportunities for ‘spectaculars’ are very few and far between. The threat is never going to go away now – that’s the saddest thought of all. :(

Say they were born British you ranting knob… then where would the question be for letting them in, in the first place? And where would you deport British born people to exactly? Should we deport all criminals and terrorists that are British born? Engage brain before typing, it would make a refreshing change!

You can be sure that the majority of them aren’t British born though
As far as deporting British born – deport them to Lebanon like I said in my original post
