A thirty year old drug dealer has been found tied to a lamp post and tarred and feathered an Irish punishment going back to the anglo irish early days when it was used as a punishment for any irish woman caught dabbling with the brit soldiers. personally i think its a fantastic idea and hope it catches on but im an evil cow anyway what thinks you lot eh ??? :lol: :lol: :lol:

29 August, 2007 at 6:06 pm #285215As much as I dont agree with it I think vigilanties are the only short term answer to our crime and social misconduct problems
The only downside is that if someone murdered someone and was then just beaten up as a punishment, lets say to the extent of having shattered knee caps as that would seem a reasonable punishment then the chances are our criminal ass kissing excuse for a legal system would probably give the vigilante the longer sentence
I’m sure if rather than notifying the police the residents of an area beat the yobbish scumbags to the point of hospitalisation for antisocial behaviour with the promise of repeat occurences they would magically learn how to behave as if by magic lol

Giving someone a good beating is not a public humiliation in the same way.
They could still be tied to a lampost nekkid afterwards tho lol, theres nothing in the rules to say they couldnt be ;)
