    Jeeze!

o O (Good old Sconny Botland)

Scotland is the worst performing small country in Western Europe, according to a report by business leaders.
The Federation of Small Businesses’ annual Index of Wealth compared 10 countries on economic performance, employment rates, health and education.

Scotland’s life expectancy rate was a major factor in it coming bottom.

FSB Scotland said the new SNP government had its work cut out to improve the nation, but ministers said Scotland “can and will do better”. *Hand me another drink*..Hic…..

Scotland also fell by one place, to 17th, in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s table of the world’s 24 most developed countries……….You can’t co-operate with a true Scotsman cause you canney understand him!

We are already far down the table of comparator countries, and on every count we are travelling in the wrong direction

    Andy Willox
FSB Scotland policy convener …………What does he know he’s probably a ”Bean counter” (Nickname for accountant)

The FSB Scotland index examined countries with fewer than nine million people, including Norway, Iceland and the Republic of Ireland…….

The report was written by John McLaren, honorary research fellow at the University of Glasgow……And the condemming report was written by someone from the ‘Homeland’!!!!!!

    Och……. It’s all Wilma’s fault I tell ya*

What was Scotland being compared with? It is not a country in its own right, but part of te UK, so it can’t be compared to Belgium, Netherlands, Ireland or other sovereign nations.

If it was being compared to Bavaria, Brittany, Catalonia or other semi-autonomous regions, that would be a valid comparison.

I agree with Bassing. Scotland isn’t a real country, so why was it being compared.. to countries? Scotland, is a region of Great Britain.

Well said, Bassing. Well said. Took the words right out of my mouth you did.
