God this programme stresses me out lol
I don’t have any kids myself so perhaps Im a bit cynical, however, really don’t understand how people let the situation to get to extremes like demonstrated on this programme. (before anyone fires in with abuse I know these programmes are targetted to show us the negative). What a bunch of little brats though. I’d have got a good hiding when I was little if I’d even thought about behaving like that (not saying thats the answer either!!)
Does anyone else think like this???

You are not aloud to smack children now,and yes the parents let them get way out of hand.

31 August, 2005 at 9:31 pm #135530It can only be the parents fault. Where else did they learn to behave like that.

Ohhh…I was going to do a post on this – I totally agree!!!!
That little brat was doing my bloody head in – I was literally staring at the screen completely gobsmacked.
He is the same age as my Callum – I was wondering what I would do if Cal done even a quarter of the stuff that little git was getting up to – and I honestly wouldn’t know how to answer that, as thankfully I have never had to put up with it.
I suppose you have to not ruin them in the first place, because its difficult to change once a pattern has been set.And you’re right – the programme is geared to show the negative – but let’s face it – that stuff they did show can’t be choreographed…not with a 5 year old! he didn’t half give his mum a smack on the face, eh?
31 August, 2005 at 10:25 pm #135532I seen a programme similar when the little kid was telling his mother to F..K Off, i know that kids can be hard to control, but also think that IF from an early age they’re taught about what’s right and what’s wrong, then parents will have much less problems.
31 August, 2005 at 10:28 pm #135533It was the mothers fault…she didnt like it when his dad disciplined him, but she then said that she didn’t believe in doing it either.
Hopefully she has now woken up and realised that kids DO need discipline! I dread to think how hat brat will be as a teenager…..
