oh dear, oh dear, oh dear

you both have made comments i agree with immensly, but you have also made comments i totally disagree with…. most of them when the conversation got too personal…. real fans…. not armchair fans…. fans living too far from the ground….. girls commenting on the thread and so on and so on.

i love my footie but hate arguements that are blinkered. i like robbo, cos unlike the united fans here in essex he actually has time to comment on other clubs and sports etc…. thats a good sportsman. somebody willing to actually watch other matches and base an opinion on what he is watching and NOT what people expect him to say/do.

where i live it is predominantly spurs. as you can imagine i dont like that very much. but if they play well i will say so. what really really pis.s me off is match day up the pub and there are more spurs fans cheering on whoever we (arsenal) are playing. come spurs playing on a weekend you will get the faithful 4 true spurs fans… they actually enjoy hating us more than they enjoy loving spurs….. what is the point? :?

footie brings out the best and the worst in everybody, but what i love about it is a good old debate..,.. lets not let this sink even further than it already has…. leave that to the F1 serious (LOL) posters….

    It’s called rivalry Sharon

Up here in the North east you are either Sunderland or Newcastle , there’s no middle ground
Where I am it’s predominantly Newcastle , so local derbies over the past few years at St james , when we are watching in the pub become a bit scary with only a bout 5 of us in red and white and a sea of black and white !!
TEll Robbo I was in Germany for 3 weeks in the summer and saw all of Argentinas games , my buddies were over from America so we followed USA and Argies as best we could .

I thnk you got the best deal last night – although I rate Cole as a great left fullback – I think Gallas is a tremendous player – hopefully he and Toure can form a good partnership – I see Cygan has gone too
Newcastle disappointed their fans – only sigining Sieberski – then the way they treat Milner was nothing short of disgraceful
Keane however made a few shrewd signings for a CHampionship club – Varga has a huge presence , Yorke did well in the World CUp , and i think connelley is one of the most underrated forwards about Kavanagh always gives 100% and Liam Miller isn’t a bad buy either – not seen the young Jock – Wallace – but he’s highly rated up in Scotland
