    Had to post this one , alway’s been a keen fan of Lou Reed but this one has to be class.

    Sorry to disagree with you Stone, but Lou Reed really didn’t sing very well. He didn’t seem to have the vocal range to reach all the notes and instead dropped into a sort of half singing half talking mode when it got difficult; he missed seveal note and sounded flat.

    Compared with Pavarotti, who allowed his voice to really do justice to a beautiful ballad, Reed sounded pretty amateur.

    The orchestration was by contrast, fantastic.
