Nah, just a halt to repetitive thread
Imagine if every day, I posted two or three threads called
“reasons why Derby County will win the championship”- it becomes stale, stilted and stifles debate
so stop the “vote for me” threads- thats what Im saying- they’re just dull and dont stimulate anything other than apathy on the serious thread boards
so slayer start anuvver one ffs grrrrrrrrrrrrr men!!!!!!!!!!!!

But surely there is a wide spectrum of discussions and policies within any political party is there not? It would certainly take more than one thread to describe the Tory, Labour, Liberal parties, etc. Am I wrong? Shall we just have one thread per party and leave it there?

Are you suggesting that a numerous series of threads on Tory council/party acitivities would make for a stimluating debate on the Labour party? If not, then why would numerous series of threads on every negative news story involving anyone non white be good for a stimulating debate on the BNP
If the BNP needs to be debated, it’s not by demonstrating that someone has thrown bricks at a Catholic church in Blackburn- it’s by discussing policy, values and vision and we’ve had little of that from anyone who supports the BNP on here

Perhaps we read posts differently then Slayer because i don’t actually see Emma advocating violence, I just see someone that believes in her political views. She’ll never change my views, and I don’t think she’ll change anyones views, but she has every right to make her point about the party she supports, as have you, i and everyone else here. And I wish I could get used to this laptop and stop typing i instead of I
I don’t think I have ever seen Emma directly advocate violence- she is clearly passionate about her cause and will continue to be so.
All good fun in the end
