stolen identity

have you ever had your identity stolen??

in real life it can happen with stolen credit cards and things like that.

but on the Internet, its much easier to steel somebody’s identity.

last year my friend (we grew up together) moved in with me to help me look after my kids, because i was not able to move around as i had a “”bad”” hip.

when she was here she asked if she could use my pc do some work on it for collage. so i let her.
but the thing was, she wasnt just doing collage work, she was hacking into my emails and slowly began to impersonate me.
at the time i used to post on 3 different forums. she would hack in with my user name, and post things pretending it was me.
she also sent emails to friends of mine also pretending to be me.
a lot of strange things were happening at the time. i was constantly being blamed for things that i didn’t say or do.
at the time i couldn’t figure out what was going on.

all this had been going on for months before i coped anything on.
she even phoned friends of mine and impersonated me.

now i have found out a bit more.

she has gone to lots and lots of different chat rooms and registered with user names that i would have used in the past.

when i registered on jc the other day, somebody asked me if i really was new, as there was a few Jenny’s already here.
i taught nothing of it at the time.
but then i went looking threw some threads and found a user with the name…Jenniijo21.
that’s one of the user names i used in the past.

i never have been on this site until the day i registered.

i was given the link by a friend ages ago, and just came to have a look the other day.

i know its only the net, and not real life, but i just feel so shit about the whole thing.

have any of you had anything like this done to you.???
