That was the easy bit
All those years ago
forgotten in time?, no
It happened to us all
I see other parents
They all look the same
As I took my first steps
In life’s little game

My life is unique
It only happened to me
But strange when I talk
To others I see
Some similar memories
of what they did then
How we survive
In life’s Little game

My step now like tracks
Laid and set in rock
Never changed nor forgot
Where I went, what I did
What event I caused
With whom time I spent
Lives I changed for better for worse
In life’s little game

Each movement forward
Will behind me be etched
Each day as it happens
Whilst in here it unfolds
Some regrets and my gains
Line up behind me in time
Memories for me, some for others
In life’s little game

As I sit here and ponder
looking back at my tracks
I see the souls and events
That brought me to here
I can smile at the best as I sip at my tea
I stood up to the test
Now lets experience the best!
