If this is true then I am truely sorry for the family Stephi has left behind but once pixel had posted I had doubts and after jen jens detective work, revealing the picture was taken from the web then it was obvious this person whoever they are had duped a lot of people.
I know a lot of people are upset by this news and I’ve no doubt she was a good friend to some but often people only see what they want to see. A lot of the posters on these boards have been here for years and have seen so many different dramas and know there will always be cheaters, people who fake cancer and death, liars, wind up merchants, players, two timers and blokes like thin ice who make your skin crawl, so why punish yourself by getting heavily involved.
Why not use it as an extension of your life instead of making it your ‘whole’ life. for a bit of banter and discussion, a laugh and general gabfesting.

I haven’t googled to try finding the pic of baby Caitlin cos to be honest right now I feel sick to the pit of my stomach.

I agree that this thread should remain, not only to serve as a reminder that deception is very easy, we are all human and we take things at face value. We believe what we are told, we form friendships that come to mean as much to us online as in real life, and with those friendships, whether online or offline, sometimes lies are told. None of us are perfect, we all have our flaws and traits that make us who we are. That’s what makes each of us unique, the human spirit is also one of forgiveness. People will never forget this, it will circulate this site for a long time to come. Each time the story is remembered, people will add their own version, because thats how it goes.
Losing someone is hard enough, the feelings and emotions over the past few days will subside, anger will turn to remembering the good moments among it all.
Behind the name Stephi, is a human being, never forget that. A confused, scared and a person thats alone. Who most likely never set out to deceive anyone in the beginning. But found herself doing so. Underneath that charade is a good person, who I hope will admit to the truth. Just so that this chapter can be closed and people can move on, knowing what they all long to know.
It is a legal requirement for all deaths to be registered within 5 days. So therefore by now her death, if it so be, will be on public record by Tuesday at the latest. The funeral directors name will also be available. If this information isn’t forthcoming, then sadly, it was all a charade.
I expected to be vilified, but I could not let this go on knowing what I knew, and if you read this thread thoroughly, I think the answers you seek already lie within this thread. The truth is among these pages, if you look hard enough, for some, its already painfully obvious.
I love that word Charade..
