STD …. Spit The Dummy

I recall a section on the boards sometime ago that was called the STD (Spit The Dummy) …. Its where all the threads that were considered offensive, annoying, flaming etc were dumped to keep the other threads on topic and all the little chatter wars would continue in there much to the relief of the posters here who enjoy the light hearted side!

The section was removed a while ago – along with a lot of the JC posters that were considered to be ‘out of order’ and with them went quite a few who thought that they had been unfairly treated!

Regardless of whether I think it was right or wrong, I have noticed that many of the posts now are hijacked by some – myself included when I have an opinion – and the nastiness and biarching has reached a new level – one that I believe is now worse than it has ever been!!!

So what I wanted to know is who thinks the STD section should be reinstated and all those who come here purely to wind up, annoy, slate and moan …. can yet again be dumped where those who want to have fun and some light banter can do so?

The ‘management’ were quick enough to get rid of the last bunch of ‘abusers’ (most of whom I enjoyed chatting to/ reading ….. and seem to be letting certain users of the boards now get away with murder – or at least threats of murder in some cases! Worried if you ban them that they make their own site and take with them more regs?

In case no-one else has noticed …… the ‘decent’ posters are declining and the ar seholes are taking over the asylum!

Quality above quantity every day for me …. but hey – so long as the site is getting ‘hits’ who cares??? I dont use the boards on a regular basis – but I do feel pizzed off for those who do …… its a disgrace right now – and the ‘powers that be’ – those who proclaim to care – it seems – doesnt!!!!!
