I better not say anything as we all have carte blance to take from all this, what the reader desires .. I admit to giggling at certain issues. But was told i read it all wrong ! and how you were complimentary as a writer, to those added .
I must have read between imaginery lines then, and feel somewhat sheepish for not “getting ” your “work” ..although i am sure i read enough to know :) I find it more amusing the named people assume its in niceness?? Apart from Blonde, its a killer piece of sarcasm and wit.and i agree . !
I’m so glad someone else has said that and it wasn’t just me. If you read it all wrong Rubes then so did I. I didn’t see much complimentary about anyone mentioned and was surprised when people in the lobby were pleased with their mention and not seeing any implied nastiness.
I’m not saying that it wasn’t amusing, just that I didn’t read it as being very nice to anyone, but hey ho. * shrugs *
And if the Coathanger in the lobby this weekend was the same Coathanger off the boards, well they weren’t very nice at all. :?

23 May, 2011 at 11:11 am #468440Coathanger hasnt been in the lobby, yet ! Not this one anyway :D
23 May, 2011 at 11:37 am #468441Some people have the ability to laugh at themselves, some people just like to take the ‘holier than thou approach’, its irrelevant. If you put yourself ‘out there’ you can expect to be commented upon, and if you can take it in the ‘ mickey taking’ way as was intended, and as the vast majority did, so much the better.
So far the only people, apart from thin,( and even he managed to make people smile by going in the lobby as Mr Lurpak), who have’nt liked it, actually are’nt in it ! ! Yet still feel the need to pontificate on about it!!
Maybe they just feel that they are so far above everyone else, as to be in a position to complain on behalf of the poor idiots, who actually laughed at themselves.
Or maybe they are just too ‘characterless’ as to warrant a mention.
Ruby, you are correct, it was sarcastic, but the characters chosen, all ( save maybe one) have had the ability to recognise and laugh at the overacting and portrayal of themselves.. As i was sure they would..
And by the way rubes …. the casting couch is over there >>> :D
Soooo Hey Ho Indeed !!!

Pssssst I said it was amusing but I didn’t read it as being very nice to anyone…I didn’t comment on whether or not I liked it :P
I’m sure “the poor idiots, who actually laughed at themselves” will appreciate your opinion of them.
