    St.Mirren 1 rangers 0

    that is all

Good result for St.Mirren and a well deserved one. That goal deserved to win any game, though McGregor could’ve given himself at least half a chance with it. Though I fail to see why it’s being treated as such a big shock, is everyone’s opinion of the Old Firm so high that it’s not deemed possible for them to lose to anyone except maybe each other?

St.Mirren are an SPL team ffs, if it were newly promoted Hamilton then I’d agree. I also think it’s disrespectful to them that most of the headlines have been focusing on Rangers, is the fascination with the Old Firm so great that credit can’t be given where it’s due?

No need, watched it on Setanta. Rangers were rotten (anytime I see Charlie Adam wide left my heart just sinks) and didn’t deserve anything from that game. St.Mirren did everything right and you can’t take that away from them.

I dare say Boyd gave you a few nervous moments when he came on

he did….but it was backs to the wall for the last 10 mins

Aye, they did what they needed to do and they had that little bit of luck when Boyd hit the post. That’s what you need sometimes.

Hope they can build on it, makes the league more competitive.

next saturday’s international has came at the wrong time…but hamilton in 2 weeks would a good time to go on a wee run

I wouldnt say there’s much if anything between St Mirren and Hamilton. I still fancy St Mirren to go down this season.

It was a shock result. Rangers have been in good form, and Saints hadnt beaten them at Love St for 20 years or something.

Rangers may be in good form, but some of the performances haven’t reflected the scorelines. Celtic & last week against Hibs have been the only two I’d say were games they deserved to win based on performance.

Agree about the international break, after a good win St.Mirren will want to keep going. As a Rangers fan, I want to see how my team respond but I’ll have to wait.

believe it or not…st.mirren are too good to go down this season

we have been playing good stuff this season without putting the ball in the net

    only 8 games played…its a marathon season…not a sprint

my tip at the start of the season to go down was kilmarnock…but thay have had a good start, hamilton have shiped 8 goals in their last 2 games and aberdeen arent looking great.

it will be close towards the end of the season…but saints wont go down (i hope)
