I think it was ad-aware that found the microsoft anti-spyware spyware and Spybot S&D that found spy doctor. I remember spy doctor slowing my pc down on the msconfig start up thingy.

Downloaded Spyware Blast and it seems to be doing the trick.

    Thanks Sharon :D

You are most welcome. Hope it stays that way.

I think most spyware blockers come with spyware these days but Ive not had any probs with that one.

I like to try others out now and then that are recommended.

I have look at the “free” software on here, there ok, but you would be better off buying something for about £30 to do the job.

The problem with free programs is there never has good has the ones you pay for .

I’m Scottish and as such resent paying for anything. A half decent cheap/free alternative suits me!

The free stuff usually does the job. The 30 quid stuff is usually just bell’s and whistle’s.

Ad-Aware and Spyware Terminator combined with a free online scan once in a while should do it.

If you’ve got Firefox, and dont open any dodgy looking E-mails, you should’nt get any Spyware or Viruses anyway.

I have paid many times for protection etc, but got rid of it each time, as it was not as good as it was made out to be.

I have no idea what you could possibly mean. All I meant was that it seems that you’ve wasted a lot of money/time/effort.
