There are around 1.7 million Muslims on this planet and a tiny percentage have committed terrorist atrocities on mainland Europe. To suggest otherwise is just biased hysteria and there is more chance of getting struck by lightning that be killed or injured in a terrorist attack. A genuine fear of terrorism in one thing, an anti Muslim crusade led by the right wing MSM is another.
Oh and all important government building are protected by pop up bollards that CAN stop a tank. Otherwise Downing Street and the White House etc would have been targeted for these sorts of attacks decades ago, similar to Foreign Embassy buildings.

Canterbury Cathedral this morning, armed police with machine guns! All people want to do is see the nativity scene, and they cant even do that any more without armed police protection!

Yes, I am sure countless millions in the UK are wandering around town and city centres this Christmas worried shedless about an act so rare, that there is more chance of them getting hit by a ‘flying pig’. The sight of armed police has been the norm in the UK for donkeys years. Big deal, so long as it keeps us all safe, or much more likely to allay irrational fears, some people may have.
If you bothered to read, (no just the DM), you would discover that yes, there are some people who ARE scared, especially parents. And yes, armed police has been the norm for years, but at a cathedral? When people just want to visit a nativity scene? To be honest I’m surprised its still allowed in this country….in case it offends some people.
and get this, Sadiq Khan, our London mayor says that terror attacks are part and parcel of,living in a big city! So what, we have to shrug our shoulders and accept it?

Oh one last thing….when that hijacked lorry ploughed into those people in Berlin….the Polish lorry driver was still alive. I’m sure the candlelit vigil that will no doubt follow,will be a huge comfort to his family.
