we dont have the indeterminely sentence here. I think folks misunderstand it in these high profile cases. She might never get out ( good). as after the intitial 7 years she goes up for parole, and whatever govt. is in power wont free her. for fear of a backlash, and yes im meaning even if the namby pamby Liberals get in PB :)
same with the Baby P case..we had a bad case here where the murdering junkie scum got 14 years. means after half of that he will be set free. Im a fan of this indeterminate clause.
my feelings tonight go out to any parent whose baby attended that nursery.
3 cases of female paedophillia in the one day !! by god. ! may they rot and get battered daily !
bless the parents who might never know.. (shudder)

16 December, 2009 at 12:00 pm #425972Hello ‘effed off’ from Dundee. The thing that intrigues me about all this is the fact that females are responsible for these attacks.
I suspect there is a generally held misconception that it is primarily males who sexually abuse children etc – but they are not alone, as these stories confirm.
Maybe its because we are all reluctant to believe that the ‘caring nurturing’ sex (yes I mean women) could do such things. However, history has shown the female of the species to be more deadly than the male.

20 December, 2009 at 10:40 am #425974Not deadilier…… The percentages still say that more men than women committ crimes of violence, and that is what this is… a vile violence against innocence.
The general concensus is that perpetrators of this kind of crime have been abused themselves. If that is true then I am suprised that there are not many many more women who are committing crimes of this nature, instead of the tiny few. As statistically more women are abused as children than men.
