18 September, 2006 at 7:55 pm #241840How come you haven’t grasped the concept of good and bad… god and satan? Obviously didn’t take much notice in class or you wouldn’t be saying “too much sh!t happens in this world for there to be one”

There is no way after 70/80 years if your lucky of living does it just stop
I aint afraid of dieing far from it because i beleve in afterlife dont matter how your born when you die your after life is fantastic

Even to the elvis records i had played at her cremation that mom aproved off and thta was one of my main concerns if i had picked the two she loved the most
people think its all b0ll0x and thats up to them but what she told me stoped me crying griveing it made me see mom was ok fit heathy wasent suffering any more
And if that helps some one who is missing some one so bad then i carnt see it being bad
I no you get rip offs but there is some people with the gift as its called and i do strogly beleve there is life after death
That’s great if it gives you comfort Sunny.
My personal belief however is that these “Meduims” are just low level mind readers, picking up the information from reading their the persons mind.18 September, 2006 at 8:57 pm #241842@peeved wrote:

there is no satan, there is no god, people are evil within themself
18 September, 2006 at 9:03 pm #241843A lot of people would say that the Universe, the Earth, the Human Body, childbirth and a load of other things are just too complicated to be random.
18 September, 2006 at 9:03 pm #241844not all people though matty. thank god (or whoever lol) for that…. can yoou imagine it if everybody was evil??
id look forward to dying then
18 September, 2006 at 9:11 pm #241845If it be atoms, god, spacemen or yourself, whatever you have faith in, it’s your own choice, whatever makes you happy.
18 September, 2006 at 9:14 pm #241846If Human Beings dont destroy ourselves or get wiped out in a Natural Disaster then with another billion of years of evolution we will become “Godlike”, or as we ourselves define the word.
We’ll conquer Death. Artificial Hearts and stuff are already around. Given another billion years of Evolution we could have artificial everything in the Human Body.
We’ll be able to create Artificial Universe’s ourselves in a Laboratory. We’ll be able to do everything that we define as “Godlike” in today’s world.
Another thought is maybe we are just an experiment in some aliens laboratory.18 September, 2006 at 9:21 pm #241847BM
Another thought is maybe we are just an experiment in some aliens laboratory.
Now that is a sensible theory, we don’t know what superior races live on planets, we haven’t discovered yet.

Matty you seem very sure of the fact that there is no heaven or afterlife, may I ask how you know this as a fact?
I personally don’t believe in God, I think the whole idea is absurd but I understand that some people need to cling on to the belief that there is something higher who they can turn to in times of need and I understand that. But at the same time no-one can say there is no afterlife, you may not believe it but its one of those thing’s we will never know exists until we die. I’d like to think there is some alternate world where you will see you’re loved ones once you die, its an idealist place and you’re probably right in saying that it doesn’t exist but there’s no way to prove it.
Nor can you prove if there is a god or not, how can you begin to think of afterlife when you believe the idea of God as absurd? Surely believing in god advocates that there is another life beyond this one on earth? You contradict yourself.
I don’t contradict myself, there are many different people who believe in an afterlife of some sort but not a god figure. I never said the afterlife was “heaven” and I personally don’t believe in god but I understand people do and respect that. Like I said there may be nothing after we die but who knows.
Matty I understand what you are saying, but there is certain phenomenon that even scientists can’t explain away as nonsense. Each person has their own viewpoint on the whole idea and no-one can say whats right or wrong as we don’t know the answers
