You obviously have little conception of the study of physics, biography, or evolution, so it would be little point in trying to explain it to you.
I leave you to your dream world.
You tell me then. Im all ears. :D Im not talking about human evolution on Earth Rodney you plonker. Or about “Biography”
Im talking about the formation of the Universe. Im talking about the beginning of anything. Im talking about the beginning of time. There was nothingness, and out of nothingness a Universe arose. That question has to be explained, before a Godlike figure can be discounted.18 September, 2006 at 3:25 pm #241831I’ll tell you what heaven is.
Heaven is a long hot bath on a cold day, with a Thai woman kneeling above you massaging you with her…………………….
(to be continued).
18 September, 2006 at 3:28 pm #241832Matty you seem very sure of the fact that there is no heaven or afterlife, may I ask how you know this as a fact?
I personally don’t believe in God, I think the whole idea is absurd but I understand that some people need to cling on to the belief that there is something higher who they can turn to in times of need and I understand that. But at the same time no-one can say there is no afterlife, you may not believe it but its one of those thing’s we will never know exists until we die. I’d like to think there is some alternate world where you will see you’re loved ones once you die, its an idealist place and you’re probably right in saying that it doesn’t exist but there’s no way to prove it.

Nor can you prove if there is a god or not, how can you begin to think of afterlife when you believe the idea of God as absurd? Surely believing in god advocates that there is another life beyond this one on earth? You contradict yourself.

i can vouch 100% sure people do not die and come back to pass messages on through the spooks, if people were able to come back, then i am sure by now, scientfic fact would have appeared along the way, proving this, the same with ghosts, its all in the mind, people somtimes want to beleive in ghosts, we live by this fear too from storys we only here from other people who have seen things at a glance
as for heaven, it was my question, i was’nt saying there was’nt one, i was more saying, i don’t think there is one, i don’t know the answers, i just have my own views like yourself, i just can’t justify a heaven and a god, too much sh!t happens in this world for there to be one
