Just thought they’d put left overs in an account for rainy days but then again that would be too easy and wouldnt leave enough for back handers

now shut up and kiss me 8)26 August, 2011 at 11:20 am #47680126 August, 2011 at 11:42 am #476802Just for the record….
Someone who doesn’t earn a wage and isn’t paying income tax is still a tax payer as they contribute to all the other taxes…
A few examples…
VAT
Fuel Tax
Road Tax
Inheritance Tax
tax on cigs and alcohol
Tax on your savings
Council Tax
and all the other taxes that you pay without realising…Have you ever looked at how much tax you pay on a weeks groceries? It is usually printed on the bottom of your bill
Admittedly they are not in the same league as the income tax that some people pay but every adult in this country is a tax payer in some form.
26 August, 2011 at 12:16 pm #476803Ive had this conversation with you before gaz…. I asked where the free land was? I think the lake district was one suggestion. So form a queue here everyone as we carve up the lakes for you all…. just one requirement you cannot have a job or pay taxes. The fact that the lakes are then lost for the rest of us seems not to count. Crazy thinking and sooo unfair. :?

You cannot have a job, pay taxes OR claim benefits…also you cannot use any of the services payed for by the taxpayer, like the education system, the NHS and so on…
