I have to say our American cousins are easily wound up. Just wondering if anyone else has found our Yank allies are a tad easy.
Beer was involved and said USMC Staff Sergeant (23 year old by the way) was becoming emotional and patriotic.
Conversation went like this:
Me: So have the Marines got over Vietnam yet?
Yank: Mot**r f88*er!! Wadaya mean? Where the F**k were you guys for that?
Me: Us? Well we thought the Vietcong were doing alright on their own so thought we’d sit it out.
(I did debate pointing out certain UK and Aussie elements had been there trying to help the US).Yank: (Confused look until he twigged) Lots of mangled swearing ending in “f**k you too as*hol*”
Yanks have no sense of humor or grasp of the subtle art of sarcasm.
where abouts did this take place , the conversation I mean ….?

Hey Becky! They are doing fantastic! I had a dream last night that I gave birth to another one :lol: . Come to think of it :-k , it was more of a nightmare :lol: . I had a newborn along with my 4 month old. YIKES! And in my dream I was crying because I loved the baby, but I was depressed that I just regained my pre-baby body and then gained all the weight back :lol: . The old saying goes that if you have a dream about a baby, it usually means there is somebody in your family that’s preggers. It sure as hell isn’t me, so I’m going to give my sister the 3rd degree today :lol: I will laugh my a** off if she is. What’s funny is that she had a dream about a baby before I told her I was pregnant with my first born. :o :lol:

How’s your family? Ready for the warm weather?Mine are fab thanx!! Growing up very fast. I would dream of 1 of my friends falling pregnant and low and behold!! the would get pregnant. So now they say “if you dream it dont tell me” :lol: I had the same dreams after my kids where they were tiny and i was pregnant and all i do in my dream is cry :lol:
Warm weather yes im very ready for but after the snow has come and gone this weekend :lol:PB you are just jealous of us brooding and you have no femininity to brood with us :roll: :lol:
