My sisters neighbour has had their conservatory roof implode with the weight of the snow..
now I would estimate that we have had about 18 inches of the white stuff here, judging by whats been on my car each day and that… OH NO I am wrong my sister informs me that the insurance assessor came out today and recorded onto the forms accumulative snow fall of 38 inches!!! That is how much has actually fell…. not necessarily lay though or may have melted back… they use the info given from met office data..OMG 38 INCHES!!!! :shock:
Just had to wedge myself between my bro in laws car and the kerb and push…. God that opened up my lungs!

i moved my car down to the bottom of the road on sunday night and still cant get the fooker out not impressed feel naff phoning work saying cant come in cause cant get out . not even the buses are running here nor are there taxi service, there are ones braving the roads and guess what they getting stuck m8 meant to nice seeminly there are loads of snowmen along the side that ppl have been building while being stuck on road lol

I love how the snow has settled to almost look like people sitting in the chairs!

Might not be remarkable to those that live up norf but this is in snowy Sussex :shock:
My son managed to get into the city centre where he works, then heard the buses were going off in an hour, so came back home. He works for a massive conglomerate,, Seemingly he was spotted in town, and is now fearing for his job. THEy are now saying they would have put him up in a hotel or paid for taxi home. Moving the goalposts as they never said that the other day.Taxi would have been no use as they are not coming up this end anyway. And i hardly think they would send them to the hilton :)
I am now worried for his job. But releived he joined a Trade Union when he started.I am not joking when i say it is up to my upper thighs ..
The good news being he managed to get provisions while in town, so i shall live to see another day :)
I looked out of my window to see a complete chav in his little corsa wheelspinning in the snow and getting nowhere fast…. awww
So I did the human thing and went and give him a push… I think he was a bit shocked by his hero of the hour being a woman lol

as for being a snob in a big posh house – sheesh, there I was thinking I was just posting up a few pics of the snow! where do you see my house? I could live in a hovel for all you can see of my house. and how do you know what class I am (that’s all a load of crap anyway)? and where does it say this is a working class thread, site or whatever?Leave your class and judgements at the door please :P
