So its only women smokers that offend you?

and it keeps you off the streets :-17 November, 2011 at 9:43 am #483017i love smoking me,in fact im off to the shop now and get some cigs,i hate the fact you can hardly smoke anywhere these days,i detest the fact you cant smoke in pubs,we all love smoking when we are having a drink,i know a bloke who used to work in an ashtray factory, who specialised in making ashtrays for pubs, now hes been laid off the poor sod.
17 November, 2011 at 10:35 am #483018Smoking definitely takes it’s toll on the skin…I have seen people who look years older than they are purely through smoking….ladies seem to suffer worse maybe because our skin if more sensitive due to hormone changes etc? Not sure..purely my own bollocked theory…..however buy a good serum and apply daily to the skin should work wonders!
17 November, 2011 at 11:03 am #483019Sorry to all the smokers here but I think Kent is right… I have a theory I can tell a smoker simply by looking at them… and that look kicks in fairly young too. My mother was a smoker and she died of lung cancer not a nice death.
My original post on this thread though was really about personal freedom and government over legislation. I still think it should be freedom of choice what we do … if we smoke or not should be a personal choice. It annoys me that government spend time and money on policies limiting personal freedom whilst at the same time we have massive economic problems and our young people dont have jobs.

17 November, 2011 at 12:28 pm #483021If smoking is as bad and as dangerous to others as the government say, Shouldn’t it be an all out ban?
Of course we all know why that will never happen.
Too much revenue is being gleaned from cigarette taxes.
Just enough to cover mps expenses. :evil:Non smoker by the way! before I get jumped on..but think the government is taking away enough of our rights, surely we should be able to do as we want in our own private spaces?
17 November, 2011 at 12:40 pm #483022I never date women who smoke. The odd smoke now and again is overlooked. 8) But don’t tell the wife. 8)

over-saturation of the market? too many merchants to choose from? :)
