I just listened to a report about banning smoking in cars… I have never smoked so it really doesn’t impact on me but I wondered what smokers think about it?
Seems even if you are alone in the car you will not be able to smoke because of the toxins that are left in the car for possible future passengers to inhale.
I have to be honest .. I didnt vote for a government to start policy making about things like this… Britain’s biggest killer is obesity.. so should there be a policy on eating in cars?..and where does policy making end?
My advice to politicians… get on with running the country and getting us out of the economic mess we are in! stop wasting time on things that just chip away personal freedom.

16 November, 2011 at 7:12 pm #483001Thin, there also one of the highest tax payers. If smoking was made illegal or fully banned where do you think the government would get the missing money from??
Also where would they invest taxpayers money as currently its mainly invested in tabacco companys – where do you think they get penison money from (maybe thats just Ireland, but you’d wanna check its not England before you try and stop it fully)16 November, 2011 at 7:18 pm #483002@irish_lucy wrote:

they would also become tax payers
not to mention the savings in the nhs
and all the cleaning up after smokers
its win win win and no smelly fag breaths either :P16 November, 2011 at 7:50 pm #483003@mrs_teapot wrote:

What about the toxins in perfume and aftershave, are they going to ban them too??
Some people dont know when enough is enough and seem to bathe in the stuff.16 November, 2011 at 7:52 pm #483004@thin ice wrote:
