I have given up smoking for 18 days now, but the urge to light up is massive sometimes, is there anyone out there in the same boat? If so what are they doing to try and stop this?

22 January, 2006 at 1:19 am #184575i tried and failed so many times, thought it was impossible, it puts you thru a rollercoaster of emotions but I am on my 10th week and it does get better as you go along.
i’m on patches and if i get bad 2mg lozenges too, :lol:I still get the urges for a cig but they go, thank god.
just dont have a cigarette if you get a strong urge cos that was my failing when i tried to quit before. :?
its true what they say , you can not just have the “one cigarette”drink orange juice it is supposed to supress the cravings,

Funny that i have given up loads of times myself, but for some reason i am finding it a bit easier. Maybe it is the fact that i have given up with my sisters b/f and don’t want to smoke before he does and visa versa.
