What with the kerfuffle about the new smoking ban that is in place up here, I thought I would ask:
Do you, or did you used to…smoke?
And we’re talking tobacco here – anything stronger is a completely different poll :lol:
I am a non-smoker :D

I voted ‘other’. I smoke every time I see someone cool on the telly doing it, or a race car with ciggy advertising on it, or one of those lung cancer government warning adverts. I had an asthma attack after the last grand prix.
I’m not completely un-health conscious, though. I always get my tobacconist to check through the packs and find me one that says SMOKING HARMS YOUR UNBORN BABY instead of, say, SMOKING CAUSES CANCER.

HEY! I do that!! I insist they give me the pack with “Smoking while Pregnant harms your baby” :D They are bringing out those disgusting images of cancer on our packs now, you should see the mouth cancer one, holy cr@p :-… So I’ve been saving my normal empty packs and plan to swap the packs when the new ones come out so I dont have to look at someones cancerous mouth 8)
I would like to say that:
Smoking in not has bad has you think!
The only poeple who moan on about it is people who have stopped smoking and would like the rest of us to suffier has well.
I will be drinking more at home when this law comes to England, sod paying pub prices for drinks and no fags.
If you can’t have a pint and a fag, what can you do?
You know its hard working tax payers like me who have to pay for this cr ap and I am getting pi ss off at having to pay for this stuff to keep a few moaning p rats happy.

Oddly enough people don’t have me down as a smoker :?
My work get all freaked out if I light up at a night out, even had an aromatherapist who said she could tell a smoker from 50 yards get all confused after I told her I smoked.
Perhaps I go out of my way to not smell like a smoker? Dunno …
Anyway seemingly the pubs in Scotland smell a lot worse without the smoke fumes to cover up the urine, sick and general sweaty smell :? :?
