    Hi got xp i aint put a lot on here yet as iv not long got it but bloody hell it slow when i start up any idears please and make then very very easy to follow lol cheer

    You using XPs fire wall, u got any other anti spy ware on it, and a virus checker?

    Sounds like you may have too many unnecessary programs at startup.
    This might help:

    EasyCleaner

    EasyCleaner is a small program which searches Windows’ registry for
    entries that are pointing nowhere. EasyCleaner also lets you delete all
    kinds of unnecessary files like temps, backups etc. You can search for
    duplicate files and you can view some interesting info about your disk
    space usage! You are also able to manage startup programs, invalid
    shortcuts and add/remove software list.

    I wouldn’t recommend deleting duplicate files unless you know what
    you’re doing!
