I’d say not enough drugs was half of your lot’s problem. To paraphrase the mighty Bill Hicks, if you don’t think that drugs and drug users have made a positive contribution to our society over the years, then I encourage you to take all the best albums out of your record collections and burn them. And those bands and musicians that have spoken out against drugs, toed the politicians’ lines – we’re rock stars against drugs ain’t we neat? – fuck me are they shit. Suck Satan’s cock.
29 April, 2006 at 12:01 am #211981Good for you, Ruby.
29 April, 2006 at 12:29 am #211982Bill Hickok was better.

Not stolen, educated by, and interpreted in my own way, its called individualism, which your political masters dont like you doing.
Its not my habitt, if that would be the case, i’d flood this website beyond its memory capabilities.
Im interested to know why you feel breaking the law is a good thing
“i happen to think Peter is a damm fine sensitive poetic, arty farty type !! YES he has a problem,,but that DONT make him a lesser person”.
In the eyes of the law, he is a lesser person, or atleast if implemented correctly it should mean that.OR, should we just forget about punishing criminals?

So, Pete Doherty’s hate of racism comes from his “drug-induced” brain, and you are suggesting everyone who is against racism must also be “smackheads”
I wasn’t too sure before, but now I know you’re a wind-up.
I AINT NO SMACK HEAD
No, you’re a slap-head :!:
1 May, 2006 at 4:01 am #211987so whats the outcome here then?
pete doherty is a lesser person im afraid rubyred, he is a smackhead addicted to an evil drug, which with the correct rehab he cold get off it, thousands of others do so he could aswell,
lets be honest he doesnt want to.
i liked the libertines, i like babyshambles too for that matter but id never see him as a role model or anyone to look upto at all
if anything he should look upto me!
1 May, 2006 at 8:45 am #211988Prison – that’s what Doherty needs – and at least a couple of years. Also from what I’ve seen he was totally talentless anyway. The legacy of punk has a lot to answer!
When people talk about things that have damaged this country in the last 40 years they talk about the hippy era, trade unions, Thatcher/yuppies, new Labour etc. Punk is rarely mentioned but I think that it is responsibe for a lot of the yob behaviour we see now. Punk is the one era of music in this country that is best forgotten.
1 May, 2006 at 12:54 pm #211989i was having a heated discussion in msn the other night on this very subject…….to quote them *dont knock it if u aint tried it* well i have certainly never tried it….but have had first hand experience of the results of drug taking. it can tear families apart…….kill………and leave small children abused and orphaned.
