I think you’re frit (scared) of a serious discussion – a discussion dealing with serious points rather than abusing anyone who disagrees with you.

The first part of my post was directed to Ge, thanking him for his comment.
The brand new paragraph was directed to anyone who was taking part in this discussion, loosely based on Ruthless’ post which you commented on Scep, nothing was personally aimed at anyone until you made it so Scep. You could have said ” I disagree because etc”, however ”I think your’e wrong Ge” was, in my opinion, deliberately done to draw him out…. to nudge him into getting into a drawn out battle so you can do what you do…. and again, in my opinion, someone saying I think you talk bullshit is hardly vile personal abuse, in fact compared to some stuff written on here its quite mild and tame, your’e a man of the world, I doubt it upset you !! Can’t see why you need to act like a victim when you wanted a reaction from Ge and probably knew what the reaction would be…..
Also, no clue as to why you would suggest a debate about it with Ge on a different thread ? You and He do not see eye to eye and that would never happen, was that slipped in to make you look reasonable ? Bit pointless, in my opinion…..Don’t worry about answering my questions, it’s really not that important…..

Unfortunately you took the ‘establishment’ completely out of context from previous posts, not sure if you read them all but the term was used by Sophie meaning ‘the catholic church’ ( which she quite clearly pointed out ) not the ‘establishment’ as in upper classes and politicians, nothing of that establishment had been mentioned in context with the subject matter, Ge, I assume, was using the term in context with Sophies post.

I was NOT demanding an answer from anyone thank you very much, I was simply trying to get back to the subject matter as you seemed to have got caught up in your own strange interpretation of what was being discussed and went off on a very long, extended, tangent.

Since when has the Catholic Church been a part of the Establishment in this country? Not for nearly 500 years – quite the opposite.
I think that homophobia is much. much more widespread than the Catholic Church, and has been regarded with horror for centuries.
To believe that homophobia is a product of Establishment propaganda is just wrong for the reasons I gave.
Thank God that is all changing – the Catholic Church is even beginning to change, but there you have a much slower process.

No you are completely wrong and I suspect you know you are. Gerry did’nt demand you answer my post nor did I , he merely pointed out that you didn’t follow the thread of posts, most uncommon for you because you couldn’t wait to spout off your sermon to him.I also know that you realise that you completely screwed it up because otherwise why would you be so rude ?

. LOLOL talk about spitting the dummy out ! Rude and condescending, nothing new there and I’m certainly not upset by it, as I’d rather converse with people on a level, I’ve never been one to sit and nod to some self proclaimed academic, so elevated in status that a perfectly normal question on a topic people are discussing is dis-interesting to him ….. lol Whats up ? did the question not interest you because I asked it ? Or because it didn’t give much leeway to spin it into an elaborate soliloquy ?

Another Trans song… but tbf, in my opinion a bloody awful song …..
So – leaving aside the petty insults – the argument is that transphobia and homophobia are caused by the propaganda of the Roman Catholic Church, or maybe by the whole of the Establishment.
Strikes me as a piss-poor argument, and no wonder the insults flow when the argument is challenged.
