i dnt think everyone posting understands the role of the captain , being captain isnt being the best player as some seam to think , its fitting a certain criteria , authority , carisma , to keep going when others around u are hiding , and to get them going again, but most of all all the players must have great respect for you , john terry fits the bill in all departments exept the most important latter

Tickers I was just going on by what my boys tell me and the conversations he has with blokes…of course being a captain is alot more than being a top player…I was captain of my netball team for a couple of years……..I understand the pressures :lol:

i was captain of football team , rugby team , and went out with captain of the net ball team ,
