Dear Dog…
I am so sorry about you being sent to the dog pound
for the broken lamp which you did not break;
the fish you did not spill; and the carpet that you
did not wet; or the wall that you did not dirty with
red paint…Things here at the house are calmer now, and
just to show you that I have no hard feelings
towards you, I am sending you a picture, so you will
always remember me.Best regards,
The Cat1 March, 2012 at 10:55 am #489969awwww Eva and Blossom – got my rhodhesian ridgeback/staff/lab/you name it! from Battersea Dogs Home – he was 6 months old (was when the kids were young, I was working from home and felt lonely) – bit the same as you, about, I dunno who chose whom, but he was the only dog out of 1500 or so, who did not bark at me and stayed in the corner curled up in a ball. When I had finished ‘the tour’ I said to the chap, can I see that Mac one again please (not sure why), and when I went back, the end of his tail just slightly wagged, he got up and preambled up to me – SOLD! He will be 13 in May, and yeah still thinks he is 6 months old!

1 March, 2012 at 12:50 pm #489971Our cats sleep on the bed, always have. They don’t have fleas, they are clean. Don’t see the problem. I love my cats.

1 March, 2012 at 3:52 pm #489974Go on Kenty I’ll say it for you :wink: :lol:
My cat doesn’t have fleas but she sheds skin, she moults, she sheds claw sheaths, she uses the litter tray and doesn’t wash her paws afterwards…she might be cleaner than some people I know, but having her in my bed is just unhygienic…having said that, she’d still be more welcome in my bed than many humans!

Heck Jen… I read this to tuppy… she made a sound a bit like a tut tut… I think her look was fairly accusing and Im sure if she could speak she would have suggested that I better find another bed then. :D :D :D
