So what happens in your house?
When I had three cats have to say they were banned from the bedroom… but after losing two of them the “pets on the bed” debate is long over….and tuppy my cat has won.
She now thinks the bed is hers and allows us to sleep with her. I know all the reasons why she should be banned but truly you would have to have a heart of steel to refuse her :(
So where do your pets sleep and are they allowed to sleep with you?
29 February, 2012 at 7:13 pm #489949I have 5 cats and they sleep on my bed or on the sofa. Anywhere they want in fact except the kitchen.
My cats are probably more hygienic than me after a day of travelling on public transport.

Marmite sleeps on “her” bed and Treacle sleeps on mine ….. usually in the middle …. spread out …. leaving me squashed on the end!
Or else she lies on top of me, kneading and purring :DApart from the fact that I like having them there …… it’s easier than putting up with the miaowing and scratching at the door!
29 February, 2012 at 7:16 pm #489951Well haha i would love my doggy max to sleep with me but he much prefers his scooby doo dogbed i do try to tempt him in with me with his fav snack gravy bones but wen the snack is gone so is he … the little git …
on the flip side he does jump on me at stupid o’clock in the morning sitting on my chest and licking me cheek to let me know to move it and take him out
29 February, 2012 at 7:19 pm #489952mine sleeps at end of bed next to my feet, but wakes up around 4 every moring and cries to get out.
cant sleep with door open so it can be a pain in the arse if shes playfull, i get up to open the door and she hides under the bed. I go back to sleep she starts crying again to get it, so some nights its a pain but shes too cute i just cant stay mad at her.

i try not to let my dog on the bed
she moults like mad all year round
and with my revolving door love life i have to change the beding to often if she gets on it
but on occasions
usually when i go home well drunk and leave the door open
she creeps up
so when i wake up bleary eyed and hung over she is usually lay on top of me 2 inches from my face waiting for a flicker from me
as soon as i move her tails starts wagging
drives me madany one want a dog
:P
