    Tesco ban for ‘barefoot shopper’

A man has been refused entry to Tesco as he tried to shop barefoot in its stores.

Video artist Dave Richards, 47, who has gone without shoes for seven years, was turned away by several branches of the supermarket chain.

Last week it emerged that customers at a Tesco store in Cardiff were banned from shopping barefoot or in their pyjamas.

I don’t know what all the fuss is about. In some countries people wear their pyjamas all day and even for special occasions like weddings, and have you seen the slippers that the Greek soldiers wear for changing the guard? Those pom poms put the ones on my pink slippers to shame!

If the pyjamas are clean and tidy and not showing too much flesh, well why not. To be honest a decent pair of flannelette pyjamas probably look a damn site more respectable than some of the stuff you see being paraded around our local Asda. :D

I know, tell me about it, there’s been occasions where I’ve seen funny looking people wearing Green pyjamas whilst in Asda..
