Personally I think its wishful thinking that some childless couple would have stolen here considering the circumstances.

Had she gone missing at home then fairysnuff its an outside possibility, but the sort of child a childless couple ARE likely to steal is a baby, not a toddler as they are too hard to explain away and are old enough to open their mouths and show the scam up

Yes your right, it probably is wishful thinking on my part. I can,t bear to think of the alternative.

Well, objectivity and being a realist arent all they’re cracked up to be anyway lol

Looks like the ground search has been called off and that ain’t a good sign. These things rarely have a happy ending and considering the time that has passed, as well as what I’ve just mentioned, even the most optimistic of optimists must have a feeling that this is looking like it could unfortunately be another sad statistic.

Not to worry people … everything is now going to be alright.

David Beckham will (tomorrow) issue a ”celeb’ appeal for the safe return of the child. Clearly an international superstar like him (not to mention a gifted and talented footballer) will absolutely make all the difference to this case.

Expect the child to be returned within 24 hours … thanks to David ”I’m the greatest footballer alive” Beckham.

BTW We’ve already had a ”celeb” appeal from Ronaldo and that didn’t work …. now Beckham is getting in on the act. Is there a need for some representation from other sports as well … just in case dear David’s heartfelt pleas fall on deaf ears????

Agreed PB, what is the point??????? :?
Why don’t the media go all out and ask Nick Griffin to make an appeal or even bin Laden, no matter who makes an apeal, it’s not gonna make the slightest bit of difference to the situation. How sad!

I actually saw that appeal earlier, PB and I have to agree that it will make sod all impact. What is the thinking there? If somebody isn’t spurred into giving whatever information they may have, no matter how insignificant they think it is by a picture of a smiling three year old girl, then who’ll respond to an appeal by Beckham and co? Surely people don’t need a nudge in the right direction?

But then, there was that woman who saw something suspicious three weeks ago and never bothered her a**e bringing it to anyone’s attention so I suppose that answers my question.

I wonder how much Beckham got paid for doing that appeal?

    #269814

aparently he did it because he.as so popular in spain and thats where they think maddy might be now.

I would have thought the actor who played Len Fairclough in corrie, Garry Glitter or Michael Jackson making an appeal might have carried more weight lol, infact, all they would have probably needed to have done is consulted their phone book and made a few calls to close friends to have sorted it out lol
