5 years on, and I’m sure a lot of the victims of 9/11 would shudder at what’s been done in their name.
A distasterous illegal war against a county not involved in 9/11 in any way.
The dissaperance and random torturing of Terrorist suspects, which could and should be considered War Crimes. Bush denying the Red Cross access to these prisoners. Total disregard for the Geneva Conventions.
Bush passing laws in Congress to make him and his cronies unaccountable for these outrages.
You really gotta wonder what’s happening. Isnt there supposed to be laws in Democracies to stop this stuff from happening? The Laws seem to be getting rewritten to favour Nazi tactics.

Really makes ya wonder on this day who the good guys and the bad guys really are.

Well, since you have the word Bad in your user name – I’ll consider you that.
I have American in mine, so I guess that makes me the good one. O:)

mmmm………… on 9/11 about 2000 people died in the USA, last year how many poeple died in the “war on terror” 4000? 5000?

    Atlest there were’t Americans

FYI Doa – There were almost 3,000 killed on 911. And just so nothing is misunderstood, yes, Americans are also dying in this war. But we don’t run and hide from people who are threatening our safety. If we just let terrorism flourish, what do you think the world is going to be like in 15 years? Let them do what they want and hope you’re not there when they decide to prove another point? Nothing worth doing is ever easy.

A good start would probably be targeting the countries who are actually involved in the terrorism, and not the countries who arent involved.

Are you honestly saying that you don’t think Saddam and Iraq have or had anything to do with terrorism? If you do believe that – I guess that’s where we differ.

    #241149

FYI – Al Qeada is not the one and only terrorist group.

FYI Saddam Hussien and Iraq had absolutely NO connection to 9/11 or Al Queda. If you believe they did it’s only because you believed the false Propoganda.
The American Secret Agencies knew that Iraq had nothing to do with it. Four years have been wasted in Iraq, with countless thousands of deaths. What a great diversion for Al Queda to rebuild and plan more attacks whilst we’re bogged down in Iraq.
5 Years on, and Bin Laden still roams free. Maybe more resources should have been utilised targeting the real threat of Bin Laden, instead of a personal family vendetta against Saddam by Bush.

Saddam was not called the Butcher of Baghdad for nothing. First of all he wasn’t letting us into his country to see for ourselves if he had WMD’s and he had used chemical weapons on his own people. With his capability, and his insanity in my opinion, and LINKS to Al Qeada, he could arm the terrorists with WMD’s. I’m still certain that those WMD will be found. We gave him enough time to hide them pretty well.

Youre still insisting that Iraq that links to Al Queda, even though your own President has admitted they didnt? Do you know something he dosent :?
There’s more chance of it raining Chocolate than there is of Weapons of Mass Destruction ever being found In Iraq.
9/11 gave Bush the opportunity to settle old family scores with Saddam by bringing out false reasons for going to war.
