I still think they were sh.it on they were only saying what a lot of other people were thinking and saying
It appears that’s not the case because if it was, Gray and Keys would be lauded for their comments.
Instead, they are both unemployed.
Thats rubbish and you know it.
Opps! I’ve hit a raw note!
Lol not at all it was just more polite than me saying youre talking sh.it at times
Nah. I hit a raw note.
If you say so but i dont see anything in what you said that could be considered to have hit a raw note
The raw note was in your own response.

i wont take offense
basicaly she ran out of any thing constuctive to say
i usually leave people feeling that way
she will sit around now for a week thinking of some clever answers
or read the papers some more
lets face it the most of what she said was quoted from the media :roll:27 January, 2011 at 8:49 am #460299It appears that Gray suggesting that the official didn’t know the offside rule (a common sexist stereotype and more of an insult to the people (men?) who trained and selected her) and then ridiculing Karen Brady’s claim about sexism in football was not enough to lose Andy Gray his job.
I care little for football and find the commentators off-putting. But every time I see Andy Gray I am more likely to see him as a pathetic figure with his hands down his trousers than as yet another patronising bore who still can’t get used to the idea that his mother/sister/wife/teacher/nurse might know a thing or two (I thought I’d stick to roles women play that might not freak his supporters out).
So far I have not seen one comment or action attributed to the assistant referee in question. She most certainly didn’t get Andy Gray the sack. Whether he was sacked for being caught as someone who can’t cope with anything that’s happened since Boudicca ruled the Iceni, or for taking on the Sky hierarchy regarding phone tapping allegations, it had nothing to do with her actions.
Of course it’s easier to blame someone who simply applied and trained for a job than to take on Murdoch. Even presidents and prime ministers have to ok their decisions with him. But it’s a shame that once again the people who made the decision escape censure if the decision was wrong.
Personally I hail her dignity and focus. She deserves credit for not getting Max Clifford involved. If she did, I wouldn’t blame her. If this episode blights her career just as she starts to fulfil her promise, then using the media to pull in some compensatory cash would be understandable, if unwise.

what about youThin 53?…. well why did I think you were in your late 30s? come to think of it no-one ever said you were but in my head I thought you were, no idea why. Bit scary that, I have asked thin for advice in the past thinking he was younger and probably more chatroom savvy … its a shock to realise he is probably just as daft as me!

Actually words, when I spoke to my husband about this he made the same observation as you regarding Murdock, he added its easy to make a stand when the guy has no clout, they employed him they knew what he was like and they were happy for him to represent them. Says more about sky as an organisation that they only take action once he is outed publicly.

And they kept him on. They’ve dismissed him at a time when he (allegedly) has questioned whether his phone has been tapped and when Sky is under major scrutiny about monopoly issues over the Murdoch clan’s juggling to keep it’s influence through broadcasting in the family.
Conspiracy theorists unite! We have nothing to lose but it’s more fun than chillaxing.
