setting sail

the drift owns the way we flow
from place to place
to unknown destinations
where only heaven knows

the tears on our face
show our emotions
that are sometimes weak
sometimes strong
to hide the days
where nobody knows
for we don’t speak
for knowing of doing wrong

its time I set my sail
and flow downstream
to another place
