Hi, I know I should check with the Vista helpfiles but it’d probably be a lot quicker to ask here.

How can I set my keboard for French, so that I can write with all the accents that that wonderful language has?

Then reset it back to UK English?

    Thanks……your feathered friend!

Well in XP you go to control panel, ”Regional and Language Settings” and select your preferred region. this will do the business for you.

I presume that it is similar in Vista.

If you want French accents etc, and you are using Office 2003 or 2007, then you need to download the French language pack.

If you go onto the Microsoft download site and have a search around for “language packs” I’m sure you’ll find it.
