What the gubbins is this and why does it want me to accept a user agreement and agree to install it? Is this likely to happen every time I visit JustChat or will it get the hint now I’ve told it no and sworn at it under my breath?

http://www.spywareguide.com/product_show.php?id=236826 January, 2006 at 10:23 am #185291I think it came off JustChat. It kept going on about how this was a free site and wouldn’t I feel like a better human being if I installed it and let them tailor their advertising to me?
Is this what we can expect from JustChat now? Has anyone else had this?
And I’m not sulking!

Open Internet Options | Privacy, click on the Advanced button.
Place a check in “Override automatic cookie handling”.
Set “First Party Cookies” to Allow, set “Third Party Cookies” to Block.
Click Ok.

26 January, 2006 at 11:05 am #185296Now my orange thingies on the left won’t turn white when I’ve viewed a page. Is this just the price I have to pay? :-s

Shouldn’t be if you’ve allowed first party cookies. :-s
26 January, 2006 at 11:11 am #185298:-s Perhaps it’s because I took the web page’s advice before you edited and then switched to yours. I’ll reboot and see if it’s all back tickety boo.
