I went to a school reunion that was organised a year after everyone had left.
Bit pointless really……………… :?
I left school 20 years ago, I moved away from the area I was bought up in as soon as I could. I haven’t kept any friends from that time in my life, and I’m glad I made that choice. I wouldn’t want to go to any reunions, the past should stay the past as far as I’m concerned, I don’t believe in looking back.
It’s been 5 years since I left school and theres only 1 person I keep in touch with who’s my best mate. As for the rest of them, I wouldn’t be bothered if I never saw them again, my school was horrible!
I skipped my 10 year reunion back in November. The rsvp list didn’t have anybody I cared to really see. The rsvp list basically consisted of the top 10 percent of the class. Smarty Genius people who went on to become doctors, lawyers, engineers, yadda yadda yadda. I heard after the fact that a bunch of people I did want to see ended up at the bar. They didn’t do the rsvp. Now that’s my kind of people. Oh well – maybe I’ll make it to my 20 year. I’ve got about 9 years to think it over. :roll:
well i for one would love to go to a school reunion.
its been 13 yrs since i left school and i lost touch with almost everyone.
my best mate is from the same school as me and we often talk about seeing everyone again. a bf from a couple of yrs back was from my old secondary school and he was soooo different from our school days. i nearly had a heart attack when we met up after 10 yr at how much he’d changed :wink: id like to see how much everyone had changed and matured :lol:i must admit, the more i think of it, the more i look forward to it, thing is, its gonna happen for us at the back end of my mates stag night, so we will be completly wasted, it will really paint a great picture that will :)
