    FYI – if you meant Watford Electronics Ltd then they are in insolvent liquidation.

    The scuzzi card is no use to you with a lapdog and it really sounds like a driver issue is causing your problem. however it may well be that the scanner is not capable of being supported (legacy) in WinXP.

    If all the previous posts with driver sites don’t help, then I should set fire to the scanner and claim on the insurance if I were you.[/b]

    ok bought a new scanner .. Im getting .. ILLEGAL ACTION warning every time i scan this pic .. any ideas ? :wink: :lol: :lol:

    I have the same problem lol My old scanner uses a scsi card which my new mb doesn’t have the slot for.

    I’m just going to get an old tower and build an ‘old’ comp for my old scanner (which was practically steam powered but blooming marvelous :) )
