I remember reading about a scam years ago.A chap posted an advert in the paper saying that if you sent him 10 quid he could tell you a way in which you would never need to cut your lawn again.When he recieved the money he sent a note back saying just dont cut it.He hadnt committed a crime and people were too embarrassed to admit theyd been had so he got away with it.

I remember reading something similar. A man placed an ad saying send me £10 and i will tell u how to make £5000 in a month. When he replied he told ppl to place an add saying that he could tell them how to make £5000 in a month. He could not be prosecuted because he was able to prove that he had made £5000 that m onth from the ad.
