So, what if Jeremy had referred to the car as being OLD? Would that be offensive to OLD people?

Damn right it would !!! You simply cannot have ageist remarks made about a car. Whatever next?? I suppose that people will be sexist by referring to a car as a ”she”.

lol instead of saying old you say classic and all cars are she’s like ship and so on i wonder why that is why do machines get referd to as she is it because if u said my car is male it woudnt start…..hmmmmm.

ive heard black kids calling each other nigger. it onlt bothers them when a white person says it. i personally think its a horrible term to use but thats jus me.
you could be offended all the time if you got offended at every name used as i said before it doesnt bother me if my mates call me ginger whinger and such but if a stranger heard it they could be offended. TOUGH ……

The problem with this sort of thing is the longer you pander to selective “special” groups feeling of entitlement the harder it will be to eradicate and the harder it will be to get them to ever accept the fact that they arent some primadonna elite, but are no better or worse than anyone and everyone else and should accept being treated as such

We dont have menopausal outpourings by hairdressers if a car is called a hairdressers car

Single mums and housewives dont storm the BBC armed with AK 47 and breastmilk expressers when a car is deemed a Womans car or second car

Neanderthol testosterone overdosed retarded bodybuilders dont stand out the studio beating their chest and making tarzan screams if the latest over sized souped up 4×4 gets called a “real mans car”

But say a car is a bit limp wristed and you have the whingey tit transporter wanna be’s throwing their butt plugs out of their play pen

I think the correct response to them would have been to first ask if they have anything better to occupy their time than such an overreactive nonsensical one and to then tell them to grow up

I actually hadn’t a clue why it was deemed offensive when I first heard about it. I’m not that familiar with rhyming sland and thought ‘Ginger Beer’ in relation to a car would have meant ‘quite dear’ or something like that.

If he had said ‘That’s the poofiest looking car I’ve ever seen’ then fair enough. With regards to the ‘n’ word which I would never say to anyone or write down, I remember watching Josie Darby on Loose Women (was off work with a cold) talking about how, in the area she grew up in, it was widely used. She then went on to say it on daytime TV without a care in the world. It’s all about perception.

I think a reaction to “the poofiest looking car”, or to be blunt even if he had called if the “faggiest looking pile of crap he had ever had the misfortune to drive” I still think its nonsense really

I’ve never actually met a gay bloke who would be stressing over something so pathetically trivial so I’m actually wondering if this was actually sparked off by straight namby pamby do gooders or closet or fake mincing homos really

And, what if my car doesn’t start, and i get mad and call it a piece of shyte, does that mean i’m being offensive to George Bush?
