Dont you just wish we had a government that would lean on them with the threat of wiping them out if they didn’t shut it. They burned our flag.

I dont give a flying feck if anyone objects to Salman Rushdie’s knighthood- it is the soverign head of states choice.
I could think of a thousand better and more worthy candidates but if the queen says he can have one, then let him have it.
After all, why worry about a few iranian demonstrators throwing eggs when we’ve engineered the deaths of 150,000 iraqis over the border

That’s all most know and would understand right now and maybe it would stop the violence for a while because there was no choice and we become them. I don’t believe that is right. Free thinking is one way to go, through understanding and aggressive dialogue. Meaning we stand up and say NO and make people think…rather than saying ” it’s their culture.”
