Two Russian submarines dived to an incredible depth to plant a Russian flag at the North Pole. This was hailed as an achievement equivalent to the US moon landings. It is also thought it might be a prelude to Russia laying claim to the arctic ocean because of the likelihood of oil and gas under the seabed.
Er…. Hello Mr. Putin…… didn’t anyone think of attaching a Russian flag to a block of concrete and dropping it through the polar ice? It’s only a few metres thick at the North Pole, I believe!!!!!

We already own The British Antarctic Territories, which millions of years ago had forests and was part of the super-continent that included Africa & India.
Under the BRITISH Antarctic Territories is frozen oil and gas.
